Monthly Gathering

Monthly Halaqa (circle of learning) to learn about Qur’an and discuss contemporary issues, while deepening Islamic knowledge, strengthening faith, and building community.

Ramadan

Reminders on Qur’anic verses, Islamic etiquette (adab), and ways to maximize the blessings of the month after Asr prayer, followed by a weekly breakfast (iftar).

Summer Picnic

A community summer picnic that brings people together through food, entertainment, and family-friendly activities, fostering unity, cooperation, and a strong sense of belonging while supporting social and cultural connection.

The Eritrean Muslim Association of Manitoba (E.M.A.M.) is an organization established in 2015 to serve the needs of the growing Eritrean community in Manitoba. Over the past decade, the Eritrean community in Winnipeg has grown significantly.

The association was founded to support the social, cultural, and religious needs of the Eritrean community. Headquartered in Winnipeg, E.M.A.M. operates as an independent, non-profit, non-political, and non-sectarian organization dedicated to community service and unity.
